Endangered Missing: Janelle Melissa Northey (MD) « Black and Missing but Not Forgotten

Where is 33-year-old Janelle Melissa Northey? According to a press release by Prince George’s County (Maryland) Police Department, police are asking the public for help in locating Janelle. She was last seen in Greenbelt, Maryland where her debit card was used in several stores. It is unknown whether she or someone else used her card.

Janelle is described as a black female with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5’4’’ tall; weighing approximately 170 lbs. Janelle is bipolar and suffers from schizophrenia and diabetes. She is listed as critical missing and is in need of her medication.

Alex Williams, missing since Nov 13, 2011, (New Orleans , LA)

New Orleans Police said they are looking for a man who went missing and was last seen in the Central Business District.

Police said 48-year-old Alex Williams was last seen in the 500 block of Canal Street on Sunday just before 2 p.m.

Williams is described by police as an African-American, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a baseball cap and dark pants and carrying two pieces of luggage.

Anyone with information on Williams' whereabouts are asked to call the New Orleans Police Department’s nonemergency line at 821-2222.

Laura Anden Beatty, missing since Nov 10, 2011

Authorities are searching for an 18-year-old woman with medical issues who’s been missing for nearly a week, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Victorville station officials said Tuesday.

Laura Anden Beatty walked away from her home in the 13400 block of Baylor Drive in Victorville at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday and hasn’t been seen since, according to Karen Hunt, spokeswoman for the Victorville station. When she left she took her two small dogs, a Chihuahua and Jack Russell terrier.

She was last seen wearing a brown, vinyl hooded jacket, tan boots and unknown colored pants. She’s a black woman standing about 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 220 pounds with black braided hair.

Officials are trying to locate her since she has medical issues.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Victorville station at (760) 241-2911 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (760) 245-4211.

Susan Bamvakis, missing since sep 20, 2011

Susan Bamvakis, 50, was last seen near her McAdams Road home, wearing black stretch pants, a bright-colored T-shirt and black shoes, said Lt. Ron Brandolini.
She is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs about 115 pounds, has brown hair and hazel eyes.
She has bipolar disorder and is not able to care for herself, Brandolini said.

RANDALL LEON CHESSER, missing since Sep 24, 2011-Willisburg, Kentucky

Randall was last seen at home around 6:00 p.m. on the 4000 block of Lawrenceburg Road.

Police are requesting any hunters who may have a trail camera in the Rock Run Creek area to review footage and contact the Kentucky State Police Department should anything turn up.

Robyn Gardner, missing since Aug 2, 2011

 

Aruba – Tuesday, authorities continued to search for missing Maryland woman Robyn Gardner, 35, who vanished Aug. 2 in Aruba after going snorkeling in an area dubbed 'Baby Beach' due to its shallow waters. The man who she traveled with to the area has been detained by local law enforcement.

Robyn had traveled to the Caribbean island with Gary Vincent Giordano, 50, who tried to return to the U.S., but was stopped at the airport before he could leave.

Aruba was also the location where Alabama teen Natalee Holloway vanished in 2005 after leaving a local nightclub with Joran van der Sloot. The Dutchman is currently behind bars in Peru, accused of the 2010 killing of Stefany Flores. He was arrested several times in connection with Natalee's disappearance, however, authorities claimed they did not have enough evidence to hold him for any wrongdoing in the case.

Robyn is described as 5'5” tall, 130 pounds with Blond hair and brown eyes. She has tattoos on her left shoulder and arm and one tattoo on her right rib cage. Anyone with information regarding Robyn's case is urged to call the Aruban authorities at 011-297-597-5201.

Marie Collelo Hanson -Missing since July 6, 20011

I have attached a photo of my mother-in-law. She has been missing since July 6th, 2011. She was last seen at the Rainbow Festival in Woodland, Washington.  She is originally from South Lake Tahoe, California.The people she was last seen with originally stated she told them she was going to hitch hike home, they have since changed their story.  Their names are Alan Peck and Catherine Ward. There is a multiple state investigation into where she could have gone. She has no ID, cash, credit cards, phone, medication, or any other belongings with her. They are with the people who last saw her. Here is her vital information:

The family of Marie Hanson are anxiously awaiting to hear any news regarding Marie.  Marie Hanson is believed to have left the Rainbow Gathering recently held outside Portland, Or in the Gifford Pinchot National Forrest.

 

Almost immediately Marie’s family set up a website, http://www.mariehansonmissing.com , as they were alarmed and concerned about her well being.  Marie Hanson, 54, was last seen leaving the gathering with a man known only as “Owl”.  “Owl” is described to be a tall skinny man with gray hair.  Marie does not have her medication, credit card, or identification with her.  

 

Marie wears a silver necklace with a silver cross on it.   She has a noticeable scar along her spine from a back surgery.  Her hair and eyes are brown.  She weighs approximately 125 pounds.  Marie Hanson resides in South Lake Tahoe but may be traveling with others from the Rainbow Gathering.  She may be headed to Big Sur, CA or Eugene, OR.
